Lots More Poems And Tales
I just thought I better warn you all to expect more poems and tales from my life growing up in Ashwell, I know this may not be to some peoples taste and it doesn't mean I won't be showing and telling of my bead making as that's what the blog is all about, I just want to put down more bits and pieces about village life and I can't think of a better way than here on my blog.
I have over the last year or two been asked about trying to do a book and yes I would love to and one friend as offered to help me as she as already had books published, which is very kind of her. It will mean I'll be writing a lot more and the feedback I will get on here from you all will help point me in the right direction, I'll see if my writing is worth trying to publish and if it's not, then at least it will at last be out there for people to read even if it's just in a small blog like this.
So with this in mind if any of you have any comments to make about what I write, then please feel free to put them on here or you can always email me at upwellsell@aol.com
Ok, cuppa over and my flame is waiting, I'm hoping the weather improves this weekend so I get to sit at my wheel in the garden and throw bowls and pots again, pity I cant erect some kind of open workshop in the garden so I get to work on the ceramics out there in the summer months, it would be the perfect end to those hot days in the barn doing my lampwork.
It'll be lovely to read all about your life growing up in the village that you clearly love so much. Pictures painted though your words that nowadays are sometimes lost in the rat race that we all live in today. Lovely to read at the end of what are manic or mundane days. Keep up including them in your blog Rob as I for one love to read them. Erika xxx
