My Own Fault
Yesterday I planned a few hours out with my camera in the morning, just to walk a couple of local woods and the river, but I did one of the most stupid things I've ever done instead. After stopping to take some photographs of swans flying over on their way out from Welney I noticed one of the tyres was a little flat on the car. I have a foot pump in the car so decided to play it safe and pump up the tyre.
As I stood putting air into the tyre my phone went so I answered it, after the call I laid the phone on the roof of the car while I took off the pump and replaced the valve cap. Everything was ok for the next few hours as I travelled around the fens, then it hit me, I had left my phone on the roof of the car and I knew straight away I was never going to see it again.
I couldn't believe how silly I was to place it there and not to just place it back in my pocket and still this morning I'm asking myself why I did it. After spending two hours searching the area on foot and following the lanes where I had driven I had no luck, so it was home to call O2 and get the phone blocked.
New sim card is on the way and I've dug out an old phone to use so if any of you have texted about beads and you have had no answer from me this is the reason why. I guess these things are sent to test us and to be honest I don't think I passed haha, to say I was a little upset is an understatement, but hey it's just a phone and they can be replaced.
I'm hoping today will be a far better day with lots of beads to make and if the sunshine stays until this afternoon I might throw a few bowls on my wheel in the garden, fingers crossed.
